The library subscribes many electronic resources (books, journals, statistics, etc.) that anyone can access from the UCM network.

To access these resources remotely, for example, from  home, it is essential to have the credentials authorised by the university: an institutional UCM email account (user@ucm.es) and its password.

One of the following methods must be used in these cases:

• validation with your UCM credentials at the UCM Unified Web Access page (SSO Web).
• access via the Virtual Private Network (VPN), which requires these credentials to be installed on your computer to allow the connected computer to be treated as if it were within the UCM network.

The configuration is easy. There is a web page of the IT Services where you can find the necessary instructions to connect, which depend on the operating system you are using.
