Simple search
A simple search box is available at the top of PDC. From this you can retrieve works in which the search term(s) appear(s) in any field. Since this is a very general search, the results can be very numerous.
The search results will be preceded by the terms that have been used.
* Use inverted commas to narrow the search results to exact terms or phrases.

Advanced search
In the advanced search option we can make more precise searches by using indexes and boolean operators, as well as limiting searches by collections.

Fields and operators
To carry out an advanced search, drop down the "Search by fields" tab and select the one that best suits your search terms.

Specify in the drop-down how the search term should appear: Is exactly, Is not exactly, Contains, Does not contain, Has content or Has no content.

Add as many rows as you need by clicking on the "Add new value" button below the search boxes.

Combine several indexes (AND, OR) by dropping down the operator tab for more accurate search results.
